Vabnagar’s main mission is to evaluate and reconcile all kinds of efforts and research works on Bengal Studies done by different scholars and researchers of different languages throughout the world.
Because, for more than a hundred years, different studies on Bengali has been accomplished in different countries of Europe, America and Asia. But all this research works are never been reconciled. So, a global knowledge network of Bengal Studies may open a new era. Through this initiative, researchers will be able to add new dimensions in Bengal Studies.

Planning of Bengal Studies
In planning of Bengal Studies for International Knowledge Network , Vabnagar is paying deep respect to US’s famous scholars Edward C Dimock, Edward C Dimock Jr,, Sally Grossman, Charles Capwell, Mary Frances Dunhan, carol salomon, Clinton B. Seely, Tony K. Stewart; Joseph O’Connell , Kathleen O’Connell from Canada; French Bhattacharya, Khoshe Pass, Philippe Benoit from France; Dusan Zbavitel from Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic); Hanna R. Thompson, Hans Harder from German; Dong Youchen from China; Masahiko Onishi, Masahiko Togawa from Japan and so forth for their love for Bengali, and their tremendous works on Bengali linguistics, literature and culture.
